Kuki Organization for Human Rights Trust

About KOHUR

The Kuki Organization for Human Rights Trust (KOHUR) came into existence on October 02, 1995 with the former name Kuki Movement for Human Rights (KUMHUR) which has been changed into Kuki Organization for Human Rights Trust in 2009 when the word “movement” was opposed strongly by the office of Registration. When the Kuki Traditional Government called Kuki Inpi was revived on June 29, 1993, automatically the need for protection of the rights of the Kukis became inevitable and therefore, the Kuki Inpi has established Human Rights organization. Therefore, since its inception, Kuki Organization for Human Rights Trust is defending and protecting the rights of its innocent people and their properties, moveable and immovable.
